SU3150 Principles of Geodesy

Concepts of astronomy and geodesy that are relevant to the
practice of surveying. Covers theory, field techniques, and computations involved in
the determination of true north, an introduction to the figure of the earth and its
geometric and physical characteristics, geodetic datums, and coordinate systems.

Restrictions: May not be
enrolled in one of the following Class(es): Freshman, Sophomore

Prerequisites: (MAT
1125 or MA 1135 or MA 1150 or MA 1151 or MA 1160 or MA 1161) and SU 3000
